My performances are permeated with magic realism in their attempt to get closer to other worlds, other life forms and unexplored places. I aim to encourage a stronger sensitivity and to gain deeper empathy towards our living surroundings by interrelating human and non-human nature.
I draw the audience into poetical spaces by combining sound, lighting, costume, and sculpture, to engender the relation between time, space and body as an elusive experience.
Common to those different outputs is the attention to materials. I listen to materials. I learn from materials. Finally I expand the field of resonance of materials, by literary shaping the materials into sound in it’s raw and acoustic form.
