In the performance A song for CELE cu, two viola players play a graphic score, composed on a weaver bird’s song. The piece was performed at the Statens Museum for Kunst along with the sound installation CELE cu. The graphic score is developed by using synesthetic sensing as a method. Synesthetic sensing is a combined perception where you for example hear a colour, see a sound, and perceive sound as a tactile sensation. I have listened to a weaver bird’s song, and transcribed the song into graphic figures and colors.
