Ultramarine was performed blindfolded by drawing horizontal lines with ink on paper for 3 hours. Surface, paper and costume are in one color as a white canvas. In this performance Marie-Louise relate to paintings as medium and the once very precious pigment Ultramarine (originally Lapis Lazuli) and how this color in art history refers to the sublime - by means of the relation between senses and super senses.
